Day 1. Arrival
Arrival to Tel Aviv International airport. Our representative will meet you after passport control and escort you to your transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 2. Jerusalem – Sightseeing of the Old and New City
The tour begins with a panoramic view of Jerusalem's Old City from the Mt of Olives. Drive to the Old City and walk to the Cardo in the recently restored Jewish Quarter. Visit the Wailing/Western Wall, the holiest of the Jewish sites. Sacred because it is a remnant of the Herodian retaining wall that once enclosed and supported the Second Temple. Walk along the Via Dolorosa (Stations of the Cross) and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The tour continues with a visit to Yad Vashem, Israel's memorial to the six million Jews that lost their lives in the Holocaust. (On Saturday and holidays, Yad Vashem is closed so a visit Mt. Olives or another site will be given instead). Return to hotel.
Day 3. Masada – Dead Sea – Ein Gedi
Drive south and see the Judean Desert view heading to the Dead Sea. Travel to Masada where you will ascent & descent by cable car. Masada is the last stronghold of the Zealots & the ancient fortress built by King Herod the Great. Masada is located atop a lofty natural plateau overlooking the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth (1200 ft. below sea level). Drive along the coast of the Dead Sea reaching Ein Gedi Spa to enjoy its therapeutic qualities of the rich mineral hot springs Dead Sea mud. Enjoy the unique experience of floating on the rich mineral water of the Dead Sea. Transportation back to your hotel.
Day 4. Caesarea – Akko – Rosh Hanikra – Haifa
Drive via the coastal highway to Caesarea to visit the impressive Roman & Crusader ruins. Continue to Acre to see the Crusader Halls. Walk through the old city to see the Oriental Market and the port. On to Rosh Hanikra at the Lebanese border to descend by cable car to the grottos. Continue to Haifa and Mount Carmel to enjoy a panoramic view of the Bahai Gardens and the Haifa port. This trip willl take you to all of the most important cities and landmarks in the Northern coastal region of Israel.
Day 5. Jerusalem – Eilat – Petra – pass by Aqaba – Eilat
Early transfer to Tel Aviv, early flight to Eilat. Pickup and cross the Arava border and drive to Petra, through the scenic Jordanian desert, past the Wadi Rum area, where Lawrence of Arabia once lived and fought with the Bedouin. Enter the Red City of Petra through the Siq by foot. This is a narrow passage through the mountains which has inspired people for centuries. The impressive treasury wonder appears suddenly at the end of the gorge, leaving the visitors breath-taken by it's size, color and beauty. Continue into the heart of this ancient city carved into the mountains, passing hundreds of tombs and monuments and a spectacular amphitheatre. Stop for a traditional lunch, followed by a visit to Moses Spring. Pass by Aqaba and then return to Eilat for overnight.
Day 6. Eilat – Taba – Sinai – Cairo
After breakfast transfer to Cairo via Sinai Desert for overnight.
Day 7. Cairo – Memphis – Sakkara – The Great Pyramids of Giza
Full day wonders tour in Memphis, Sakkara, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Valley Temple & the Sphinx. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 Full Day City Tour of Cairo
Visiting the Egyptian Museum, the Mosque of Mohamad Ali's Citadel, the old city, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the El Moallakah (hanging) Church. Continue via the City of the Death to Bazaar of Kahn Khalili. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9. Breakfast and Departure
Have breakfast and then transfer to the airport for departure.
